Renumbered R211A 4309 on the move at Jay Street-MetroTech
Here we see the recently renumbered R211A 4309 as well as 4308-4305 at the Jay Street-MetroTech station. Coupled to it were R211As 4325-4329. Enjoy!

Here are two additional ad-wrapped R188 sets (HubSpot and The Ordinary) that recently entered service on the (7) line for the US Open, along with the fully wrapped Morgan Stanley train arriving just after The Ordinary wrap departs. Enjoy!
Another single R211 mystery car tow at Jay Street-MetroTech!

Here we see another unnumbered and mysterious R211 car being towed through the Jay Street-MetroTech station. It is quite uncommon to see cars without their distinctive number plates, and also as single units like this. Also of note: the diesel towing the R211 sports the number (and was likely the prototype for) the MTH NW-2 diesel released as part of the MTA work train set in 2002. Enjoy!

Here we see two R188 trains recently wrapped for the US Open. Cars 7276-7280 and 7905 are wearing an ad-wrap for Evian Water and went into service on August 12. Here are two MTH R62A sets and one MTH R142A (converted R188) set operating on the layout and utilizing both tracks. The auto mode system is still temperamental, especially on the R62A sets, but I managed to get them to (mostly) stop at the platforms. Enjoy!

After 8 years, cars 7506-7510 7928 have finally been "turned", with 7506 now at the head end for the first time in service as an R188. Several R62A cars were recently sent to Corona Yard. Some of these cars were sent to provide the refuse train crews with air conditioned cars for the summer. The remaining cars were returned to Westchester Yard the following week. Enjoy!

The IHG ad-wrap is back on the (7) line. This year, cars 7496-7500 and 7927 are sporting the wrap. This is the third consecutive year IHG has wrapped a set of R188 cars. Interestingly, this is now the second former CBTC test set to be wrapped, the first being cars 7860-7865 last year.

Hopefully, the R211A will be completed to car #4499 by 2025
It's definitely gonna take three to five more years for the R211As R211Ts to get here. I'm just letting you know.
Another thing to. Don't look for no R46S being scrapped because they are definitely gonna be here a little while longer. Maybe.to two or three more years.
Listen carefully . The R211As And the R211Ts are still coming. IN order to get rid of the the R46S all the R211As R211Ts T211S has to be 100 percent full to be in services . I tell you one thing they are definitely gonna keep some R46S on the open cut I tell you that right now. The only two equipments we got left is the R68S R68AS and the R46S.

Perhaps they’re using it as a training car for the FDNY? I know they have one of the R110B cars set up as such at the Randall’s Island facility, so maybe they’re planning the same with this one?
No because this car is too brand new to be used for FDNY training. If anything this might be the compensation R211 car from Kawasaki as a way of saying sorry for the damaged R211 car that occurred during transport to the 207 Street shop.

That’s most likely headed for the A. The C is using R211Ts atm. The R211Ts are currently on hold because congestion pricing has been stopped. The MTA was gambling on congestion pricing to pay for the orders of the next wave of R211Ts but because congestion pricing is on hold, the fate of the R211Ts are up in the air atm.
